As a Cloud Financial Analyst and a Certified FinOps Practitioner, my goal is to get the best out of the cloud in the most efficient way . In this section I will explain how I was able to optimize the cost of some the most used services of the cloud by using tools such as Savings plan, Reserved instances, AWS free tier, AWS Cloud watch, Pricing Calculator, AWS Budget and more. I also use AWS CUR to have a better understanding of my cost and AWS usage. I also use AWS Billing conductor to improve cost visibility and identify area where I am overspending. I use it for Showback, Chargeback it can also be use for internal billing especially for a large organization.
